The Purpose Of Coffee

Besides being a natural tenderizer, it also adds caramelization to grilled meats and vegetables. In savory dishes and sauces, coffee will add depth of flavor and richness. Coffee enhances and uplifts other flavors and will not over-shadow a dish when used as an accent spice. It’s amazing how well coffee harmonizes with other spices. In our seasoning you can smell the coffee but during the cooking process the coffee flavor is not front and center. The coffee flavor will dissipate much like the alcohol in vanilla during the cooking process.

As for caffeine consumption when coffee is used as an ingredient in our seasoning, you would be hard pressed to detect a miniscule amount because of the recommended seasoning portion size and ratio of coffee to the other ingredients in our seasoning.

Having our own coffee is the ideal companion product. Coffee is as coffee does.

Coffee is as purposeful in our seasoning as we have made it for you to enjoy in your cup.

Our Beans

Locally Roasted and Proudly Served

Good coffee is a matter of opinion. There are infinite beans flavors, bean combinations, roasters and roasting techniques. It is our goal here at WYO HISER to offer a coffee that is as popular with as many palates as possible. It wasn't an easy task to find a roaster that was willing to roast batch after batch until we were satisfied. We are so grateful that our roaster happens to be located right here in Torrington, Wyoming. We chose to blend beans from Peru and Honduras and roast it just dark enough to enhance the notes of dark chocolate, walnut, and brown sugar. WYO HISER Coffee is an absolutely satisfying cup of coffee. It’s bold, beautiful, balanced and ahhhh….

HOW TO BREWa Great Cup of Drip Coffee:

KEEP IT SIMPLE

Simply measure 2 TBL of ground coffee per 8oz of filtered water.  That's it! WYO HISER COFFEE and FILTERED WATER.

WATER is as important as the beans. Water has a direct effect on the flavor of coffee.

It is VERY IMPORTANT to MEASURE the water! Do not rush to blame the beans.

WATER TYPE

The type of water used to brew coffee will have direct effect on the finished coffee flavor.

We do not recommend enhanced water, not spring water, not distilled, not chlorinated tap water or water with excessive mineral content.

Use a simple water filter pitcher, an inexpensive jug of store-bought filtered water or a reverse osmosis home system.

MEASURE the WATER

You measure the coffee, so measure the water for brewing a pot of coffee.

DO NOT rely on the water reservoir marks on your drip maker for an accurate 8 oz measure. The marks vary by the coffee maker brand suggested serving.

Measuring the water to see where the water actually fills your coffee maker reservoir. This will make a huge difference in how your home brewed cup of coffee will taste.

Enjoy sipping the difference filtered, measured water will make in your cup of coffee.
